Passport Terroir. Winemakers’ Salon, May 6th
We are proud to announce Passport Terroir, a charity tasting that communes wine growers with consumers in conjunction with our 20th Anniversary Trade Tasting on May 6th, at Carroll Place, 157 Bleecker Street.
Located in the old Kenny’s Castaways, a venue that gave voice and stage to a range of musicians from Bruce Springsteen to The New York Dolls and Patti Smith, to The Fugees and Phish, Passport Terroir will honor yet another set of superstars during this two hour walk-around tasting, featuring 100 participating winemakers.
Lauded as a farmer’s market for wine from around the world, Passport Terroir will offer the consumer an opportunity to taste some of the world’s best artisan wines, while meeting the winemakers and farmers who create them. Featuring wines from France, Spain, Italy, Germany, Austria, Chile and Argentina, Passport Terroir will bring the winery to the consumer in an intimate old-school New York, West Village location.
With a commitment to organic, biodynamic and natural winegrowers, we have been fostering this community for the past twenty years. Dedicated to the livelihood, artistry and craftsmanship of our producers, we welcome the public to come together in support of a great cause, while traveling the world of wine in a single evening.
Price for entry is $115, and 100% of the proceeds for Passport Terroir will go to Contractors for Kids, a non-for-profit corporation founded for the purpose of providing assistance to families in our communities. Their goal is to assist children and their families overcome obstacles that have unfortunately changed or have impacted their lives through sickness or injury or death.
Let’s work together.
Come taste with us.
